Had breakfast with my 2 brothers during a ride out in the area. We really enjoyed the breakfast and atmosphere, have been several times and always the same . Well worth putting on your list.
Fantastic cafe. Visited 4 times over 2 weeks whilst on holiday in the area. One of the best roadside cafes in the UK in my opinion. Excellent food, good service and competitive prices. Well worth a visit.
Great pit stop on the A338! Chopper'c Cafe was just what we needed for a yummy breakfast and coffee on the way to Avebury from the Solstice dawn at Stonehenge
The food is reasonably priced and there are many options to choose from. I ordered the ‘Fatboy burger’ and my husband the ‘Big breakfast’ and I can really recommend it. A nice place for a short stopover. Today it was cold outside but unfortunately inside the building too, which was not pleasant.
2025 update: this is all still true, there is rarely a time I don't pass by and pull over for a quick stop. If Michelin gave stars to truck/bike stops Choppers would have 3 stars. Easily the best place to stop and get food if you're ever driving through the Marlborough area. Everything on the menu is amazing, but the sausage and bacon rolls in particular steal the show! The bread is unlike anything I've had anywhere else, it's in a league of its own, and the bacon and sausage are cooked to perfection.
Quite possibly one of the best fry ups there is. No frills, served hot, and plenty of it. I've only had excellent breakfasts here.
Great staff and service. Food is very reasonably priced and well presented with plenty of changeable options. Nothing is too much trouble from a glass of water to full English breakfast and bikers are made to feel more than welcome.
Arguably the best full breakfast I've had anywhere. All items cooked properly, generous portions, and the ability to substitute certain items for others if required. Choppers has been there 34yrs - it's not hard to see why.
